“Our guide was very knowledgeable. However, the trip was a bit rushed. We started Troy in reverse chronological order (im.assumong to save time) and then at the end, I had to choose between using the restroom and buying Souvenirs. I chose the restroom and then I only had time to grab the first magnet that I saw. I wanted to get a tshirt but there was no time to look at options or decide on sizes. Other than that, the drive was smooth (a bit long but that's out of the tour's control) but it was comfortable. Would definitely recommend. I'd like to suggest to mgmt to cut breakfast break…”

“The pickup is early but a worthy, refreshing day trip to Troy which is about 4 hours from Istanbul with a pit stop/bathroom break both way. During this time you can buy yourself tea/snack. It’s interesting connecting this historic city, & its ruins to reality and our tour guide Charlie was great. However, be mindful there are a few changes along the tour including transportation, driver and guide. “Lunch” being included is ok and one less stress. Also it’s nice to view the scenery and other side of Istanbul away from the hustle and bustle…. We had a great time, and would highly recommend.”

“Gallipoli was informative and deeply moving, largely thanks to our brilliant guide Hassan and terrific driver (who’s name I unfortunately missed-sorry!) i realised how little I actually knew about the Dardanelles campaign and battlefield stories beyond the important but simplified lessons learnt in school. Standing above the beaches and ridgelines makes it so much clearer. Troy was also enjoyable but try to include s visit to the museum first as it puts the ruins in context. Hotel Artur was very comfortable - great beds, brilliant sunset view from our balcony. My only criticism would be the long trip back to Istanbul in a jampacked minibus, whch was incredibly uncomfortable.”

Pergamon and the visit to the Desen carpet weavers collective were my favorite parts of the tour. The vehicles were clean and well maintained and the drivers were diligent. Even though our tour was listed as ending in Kuşadası, the tour company was kind enough to drop us off at our hotel in İzmir. We don't usually do organized tours, but we had no regrets booking this one!”
